Hello.

I’m Audrey. 🖤

A creative and strategic brand leader, I partner with mission-driven organizations to translate complex ideas into stories, campaigns, and brands that move people to action.

I prioritize partnerships and projects that create better, more equitable futures by focusing on climate, sustainability, and social impact. I approach work through an equity lens that helps to examine power structures, systems, and processes.

I spent the first half of my career working for Fortune 100’s, and the latter half freelancing/contracting with organizations that aim to leave this planet better than when we inherited it.

THE BACKSTORY

a climate journey begins

I was raised in rural Idaho, where I spent my childhood playing in the creek, perfecting my wild turkey call, and sledding to the bus stop. As I grew older, I saw the ways in which the warming climate affected the place I called home – less snowfall in the winter, flooding in the spring, droughts in the summer, wildfire evacuation alerts, and a disappearing reservoir.

I developed an overwhelming desire to preserve these natural spaces, so that future generations can experience the same joy and healing power that they brought me.

off to work

I like to move, shake, disrupt, and identify solutions to problems. I’m an idea generator, a dot-connector. I can see the big picture and understand the interconnectedness of systems.

My time working across a multitude of business types – Fortune 100’s, startups, agencies, non-profits, higher ed, community orgs – has given me a sizeable toolbox from which I approach design and leadership, and navigate ambiguity.

I approach leadership with great empathy and compassion, because I know what it feels like to be excluded from the table. I recognize and cultivate the potential in others, and believe everyone has a voice to be heard, especially those we hear from least.

out to play

An insatiable curiosity feeds my every move. To put this another way, I’m never bored. Instead, I’m driven by questions, ideas, and wonder. As a perpetual student, I thrive on learning and pushing against my growth edge.

To learn and more deeply embed myself in the climate solutions space, I completed Terra.do’s fellowship program in 2023, and the Climatebase fellowship program in summer 2024. I love learning about the multitude of ways people are working to solve the most salient issue of our time, and want to be a part of this space.

I sometimes teach graphic design at Pacific Northwest College of Art called the Psychology of Seeing. It examines the ways in which our own personal biases affect the way we see and understand the world and design for it.

Climate and equity activism seep into every facet of my life. I organize a meetup group for people interested, and working in, climate solutions, and believe that community drives change, not individualism.

Movement is my therapy. You’ll likely find me on a bike, climbing trails, gardening beyond daylight, or dancing in public.
